Description

Discover Lisbon and its iconic yellow elevators on this 2.5 hour sunset tour. We will explore the 100+ year history of these transports in a city defined by its 7 hills. We will start at the Lavra Elevator/Funicular, the oldest one, visit the Torel Garden viewpoint, and then go down the historic Santa Marta Street, where we will find a wide range of local commerce. We will continue to the Elevador de Gloria to the viewpoint of San Pedro de Alcantara, then cross the Barrio Alto and finish at the viewpoint of Santa Catarina and descend by the Elevador de Bica, passing through the Rua Rosada and its multicolored umbrellas, ending at the Mercado da Ribeira or in the bohemian area Poços Negros, where you can enjoy a vibrant nightlife. The tour includes all entrance tickets! Recommendations: Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. A 10-15 minute break is included to rest and have a drink (not included in the tour price).
