Description

Our experience will start and finish in the designated meeting point. At this first stop our guests will be able to experience what it was like to live in a medieval village of high economic, social and cultural level, they will also be able to see the facade of the Summer Palace of the Portuguese Royal Family until the beginning of the 20th century, see the Castle of the Mouros and above all try the exclusive Sintra sweets, Queijada and Travesseiro. Next we will visit the beautiful and iconic Pena Palace, also known as the Portuguese Neuschwanstein Palace, built by Consort King Dom Fernando II in the first half of the 19th century. XIX after his marriage with the Regent Queen of Portugal Dona Maria II, a place of fantasy, stunning views and lush gardens that resemble a small garden of Eden. In its rooms we will be able to see their various themes. Here at this stop we´ll have a stunning view of the Sintra mountain, the coast of Cabo da Roca and the golden beaches of Guincho, where surfers come to perfect their skills before venturing out to the biggest waves in the world in Nazaré. In Cascais, the hidden pearl of the Atlantic, we will stop for lunch at the fishing village and visit. Cascais began as a fishing village in the 14th century by royal decree of King Dom Pedro I and it remained that way until the 19th century with the arrival of the Portuguese royal family, King Dom Luís and his wife Dona Maria Pia de Saboia, which became a summer village for the royal family and Portuguese nobles. Its typical fishermen's houses, the beaches bathed by the Atlantic and illuminated by the radiant Sun of Cascais give this town a unique charm. European Kings during World War II came into exile here in the town of Cascais and which led to a wave of popularity that was enjoyed by the rich and famous in Portugal and beyond.
